We are seeking a very motivated and customer-focused sales person/cashier to join us at Badass Bagels in Armonk NY.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a friendly and approachable personality, and a strong attention to detail. We'd love you to have a background in sustainable agriculture, or at least a love of farm to table food. We pride ourselves in educating our customers on clean eating and healthy food options. We want you to become as knowledgable as we are on the local food scene.
You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our customers, accurately processing orders, and ensuring a seamless dining experience.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly, efficient service.
- Accurately process customer orders and payments.
- Handle cash and card transactions efficiently and responsibly.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with food preparation and packaging as needed.
- Answer customer questions about the menu and provide recommendations.
- Work closely with the kitchen and management to ensure perfect execution of orders.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role (e.g., cashier, customer service) preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
- Ability to work Wednesday through Sunday ( a 4 or 5 day schedule)
