JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for hospitality naturals who are passionate about food, gourmet products and caviar to join our team at our new downtown - Marky’s Caviar Tribeca location.
Thisposition will greet and assist retail customers, answer phone calls, process UberEats orders, help maintain store cleanliness, and be fully educated on the Marky’s Caviar gourmet selection (especially Caviar).
This position requires an energetic, positive, organized, and pro-active nature in a busy and demanding setting.
Host/Reservationist experience is preferred. Proficiency in English is required.
SCHEDULE:
Full-time (40 hours/week)
Friday - Tuesday (10am-6pm)
Wednesday & Thursday off
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers and assist them with locating products and/or answering any questions
- Use Clover POS to ring up and process transactions as a cashier for customers
- Provide friendly, courteous, and knowledgeable service to customers
- Handle customer complaints or concerns promptly and escalate to management as needed
- Re-stock shelves with product and monitor stock levels
- Ensure FIFO procedures are followed
- Ensure all food items are stored according to health and safety regulations (maintain proper fridge temeperatures)
- Process incoming UberEats and pick-up orders
