Seasonal School Lunch Server Position
MUST HAVE A NYC FOOD HANDLERS LICENSE
Little Green Gourmets is a rapidly growing food company that produces healthy meals for children. We are an established business with a great work environment: morning / daytime hours and friendly people. We are seeking reliable, friendly servers to serve lunch to kids at schools in Manhattan Monday-Friday approximately 10:30am-1:30pm.
Responsibilities include:
- Receive daily deliveries of food & provisions
- Check deliveries for correct items
- Serve food according to instructions.
- Organize accessories such as eating utensils, napkins, and condiments.
- Ensure the special allergy meals are delivered to the right student.
- Maintain cleanliness and safe food handling
- Clean kitchen utensils and lunch area before leaving
Candidate must possess the following:
- Friendly and like interacting with children
- Food Handlers Certificate and know proper food handling and food safety
- Previous serving experience preferred but not required
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Punctual and reliable
- Flexible and willing to help with any necessary tasks
- Able to lift 50lbs and be on their feet their entire shift.
This job is great for people who want to make some extra cash during their free hours, stay at home moms & dads, retired grandparents.
Hours are Monday-Friday 10:30am to 1:30pm, September 2021 until June 2022. School holidays and closures off.
