Desert Rain Lounge is a casual hookah lounge offering HOOKAHS, SOFT DRINKS, BEERS, WINES, and LIQUOR. It is a popular, small but high volume place, recognized for both its high standard in excellent hookahs and exemplary customer service (check ratings on social media). It has established itself as one of the best hookah lounges in both Queens and NYC.

Hookah SERVER position: (3-4 days, starting Part-time up to 25 hours)
Responsibilities will include answering phone, seating customers, taking orders, taking payments, preparing/serving customers drinks, clearing up tables, serving/fixing hookahs and tending to customer needs. Salary and hours will be discussed ($18-20/hr cash with tips included, with potential to make $23+/hr).
Applicants MUST
- be able to work late night hours and weekends (between 7pm and 4am)

- be quick and EFFICIENT
- be able to work AUTONOMOUSLY
- able to follow directions and complete tasks and orders properly
- have prior experience in sales and service industry

- be able to provide EXCELLENT customer service
- have prior experience and knowledge about hookah and flavors
- be a hookah smoker
Hookah MAKER position: (3-5 days, starting Part-time up to 25 hours)
Responsibilities will include making hookahs, changing charcoals, cleaning up tables/hookahs, opening/closing procedures (cleaning the lounge) and providing excellent customer service. Salary and hours will be discussed ($18-20/hr cash with tips included, with potential to make $23+/hr).
Applicants MUST be

- able to MULTITASK COMPETENTLY
- able to handle rush hour crowd
- able to maintain a CLEAN work area
- be fluent in English
- able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs)

- able to follow directions and complete tasks and orders properly
- have prior experience in smoking, making and cleaning hookahs as well
