At La Mer Seafood, we pride ourselves on being a warm, vibrant and growing establishment in the heart of Armonk. We are a restaurant, seafood market, sushi bar and catering company. We're passionate about fresh, high-quality seafood and a commitment to exceptional customer service. Our team is dedicated to fostering a positive work environment where creativity and collaboration thrive. In addition, we are in the process of an expansion.

We're seeking a talented and motivated cook to work with our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of seafood preparation, but it's not mandatory. As a cook you will work on all kitchen operations, help develop menu items, and interact with customers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Food Prep: Participate in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes, ensuring high quality and consistency.

- Food Safety Compliance: Ensure that all food safety and sanitation regulations are followed in accordance with health codes.

- Customer Interaction: Engage with customers, gather feedback, and make adjustments to improve the dining experience.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a cook (sushi or seafood is a huge plus!)

- Strong knowledge of seafood types, preparation techniques, and flavor pairings.

- Excellent leadership and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.

- Passion for culinary arts and commitment to using sustainable practices.
