Salt + Charcoal is Williamsburg’s one of a kind Japanese Grill, located in the heart of Williamsburg. Preparation of our signature steaks start with our chef hand selecting each piece of beef at the purveyor. It is then dry aged for 28 to 50 days before charcoal-grilling using our unique crank grill. The result is a super tender steak with all of the umami trapped inside. We also have a wide selection of seafood, a raw bar, and Japanese inspired appetizers. Our full bar features original cocktails crafted by award winning mixologists and a variety of Japanese spirits, and wines specially crafted to pair with our food offerings.

・Strong communication skills
・Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
・Able to work on Friday & Saturday (Starts from 2 days a week shifts)
・The ability to work independently or as part of a team
・Minimum 2+ years’ experience as a Bartender of similar caliber concept
・Able to work under pressure (Able to provide high quality service to guests in a busy)
・Working with warm and friendly hospitality
・Respect each other with colleagues
・Support daily batches & prep as needed
・Daily garnish production and distribute to bars for service
・Knowledge about Japanese cuisine is plus
・Knowledge about spirits/wine/sake is plus
・Working at fine dining restaurant experience is plus
・Having worked as server experience is plus
・Experienced to work in Japanese culture environment is plus
