Kubeh, is a restaurant in the West Village, that's one of a kind in NYC, celebrating authentic dishes from Israel, Iraq, Syria and Kurdistan. Kubeh has gotten wonderful praise by NY Magazine, Infatuation, NPR and much more.
We are looking for a Host to work 2-3 shifts with room for growth. We are seeking someone to manage reservations, check guests in, seat guests and manage turn times of tables. Barista training is a plus. Applicants must have at least 1 year experience in NYC hospitality industry. If you're a great multi-tasker and self-starter, and someone who wants to learn about Middle Eastern food, then this is the position for you.
As a Host you will:
- Greet guests and seat guests.
- Communicate special requests and celebrations to servers.
- Answer phones.
- Manage reservations, walk ins and waitlists.
- Help with espresso drinks and take out orders
- Help reset tables and monitor table turns to maximize seating.
About You:
- Minimum of 1 year in NY restaurant industry
- Passionate about high quality service in a friendly environment
- You're interested in unique foods and love to talk about them with guests.
