We are a Korean restaurant serving Topokki (spicy rice cakes) the concept is people make their own rice cakes, similar to hot pot. We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Server / Cashier to join our team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide menu recommendations and answer any questions regarding ingredients or dietary restrictions
- Serve food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Monitor guest satisfaction and promptly address any issues or concerns
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guest
- Process payments using cash registers or POS systems
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Familiarity with operating cash registers or POS systems
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with reservation platforms such as OpenTable is a plus
- A passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences
