Looking for experienced fine dining servers with 3 to 4 years of fine dining experience.
Able to deliver a fine high-end dining experience to all members and their guests.
Be well versed in wine knowledge, beverage cocktails, Italian cuisine and desserts.
Expected to be regular in attendance and punctual.
Create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Maintain responsibility for a personal bank and ensure all financial transactions are accurate by operating credit card machines correctly, calculating and returning appropriate change and maintaining adequate cash and coin for making change.
Follow company alcohol awareness standards and procedures for preventing intoxication and dealing with intoxicated guests.
Adhere to NYC DOH and company sanitation procedures. Keep the restaurant clean while working quickly and efficiently.
Greet newly seated members and their guests in a friendly and timely manner.
Accurately take all food and drink orders. Maintain a thorough understanding of all the menu items and can answer questions regarding our entire menu and their preparation.
Enter orders into our POS quickly and in proper sequence, using appropriate modifications and charges. Make correct change, process credit card transactions, and account of all monies at the end of each shift.
Ensure food is properly plated and delivered to designated tables throughout all sections of the restaurant.
Able to follow all portion control guidelines to ensure food and beverage cost control.
Able to quickly bus and reset tables as the dining experience progresses.
Ensure our members are satisfied throughout their dining experience by checking back after each course is delivered. Maintaining drink refills, upselling items for each menu category and responding to all our guest’s needs in a timely manner.
Keep management informed of all problems or concerns and take prompt corrective action where necessary or suggest alternative courses of action.
Adhere to direction given by supervisors and management.
Able to walk and carry moderately heavy loads for extended periods of time. Assist in all of our events from set up, breakdown and staging on a daily basis.
Work in a team environment while creating a memorable fine dining experience for all members and their guests. Assists other team members as needed or as business dictates.
