Modern Love Brooklyn is a from-scratch vegan comfort food restaurant. We are looking for an all-around FOH member who can do it all: bar, host, serve. Not all at the same time :) We are open every evening from 5pm to 10pm and for brunch on Saturday and Sunday. We are opening for lunch next week so daytime hours may be available for the right person.
Requirements:
2 years FOH experience
Bartending experience
Weekend availability
A strong sense urgency
Ability to work as a team (we pool tips and help each other out!)
Knowledge of Square or similar POS
Great communication skills, to communicate with each other and our amazing kitchen team
Punctuality is a must
Knowledge of vegan food is a plus!
Ability to memorize menu items and allergens, we take allergies very seriously.
Technical requirements:
Knowledge of square
Knowledge of all delivery apps and processes (Grubhub, Uber Eats, etc)
Hosting experience (OpenTable)
