Job Description: As a Server you will play a key role in delivering top-notch service in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and drinks, and ensuring guests have a memorable dining experience. We are seeking individuals with at least 2 years of experience working in a New York City restaurant or lounge, who thrive in an upbeat, team-oriented setting. A friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional service to guests, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Take food and drink orders, and deliver them in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain an extensive knowledge of the menu, including wine and drink offerings, to make recommendations.
Create a welcoming atmosphere and build rapport with guests.
Work closely with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service.
Ensure tables are set, clean, and organized, and keep the dining area in pristine condition.
Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues with professionalism and efficiency.
Process payments accurately and provide change when necessary.
Uphold restaurant policies and procedures, ensuring a high standard of service is always maintained.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of NYC restaurant or lounge experience required.
Previous experience as a Server or Bartender in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Ability to stay organized and multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must be able to work efficiently under pressure during peak times.
Knowledge of cocktails, wine, and beverage service is a plus.
A passion for hospitality and great food.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
