Heap's Ice Cream is seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Shift Manager to assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations. In this role, you’ll be a key player in ensuring that every scoop we serve contributes to our mission of connection and community.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing day-to-day operations, including meeting sales goals, staffing, inventory, and customer service.
- Supervise scoopers and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Open and close the shop as required, including handling cash transactions and reconciling cash drawers.
- Ensure that all scoopers are following proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving deliveries and restocking inventory.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional manner.
- Assist with training and onboarding new scoopers.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Shop Manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a customer service or supervisory role preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
