Strange Bird Hospitality is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team! We own and operate Nat's on Bank and The Orchard Townhouse.
We are looking for a passionate and energetic individual to assist in leading our BOH team alongside our Executive Chef. This position requires cooking on the line, managing prep and assistance with ordering, inventory and training of staff.
Previous leadership/management experience is required.
Must have hands on management style with strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse staff. Strong line skills are required. We provide a challenging team-oriented environment, where excellence is expected in all areas of food preparation and presentation.
Compensation and Benefits
67,000 - 70,000 a year based on prior experience

Physical Requirements of the position:
Prolonged periods of standing and walking
Bending, reaching, climbing up and down stairs
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs
Manual dexterity to grasp, cut and chop foods and perform other related tasks
