We are seeking a passionate and skilled Manager to lead our team and help us continue our journey.

Position Overview: As the Manager you will play a crucial role in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers. You will oversee the daily operations, manage a team of dedicated staff, and ensure that our cafe maintains its high standards of service, product quality, and sustainability.

Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and service personnel, providing guidance, coaching, and training to maintain exceptional customer service. Handle scheduling and staff management.

Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and vendor relationships for both coffee and food items.

Customer Experience: Ensure that our customers have a memorable and enjoyable experience by maintaining high-quality coffee and a diverse menu, and continuously seek ways to improve service.

Financial Management: Manage the cafe's budget and track expenses in direct coordination with ownership and work towards revenue growth through strategic initiatives.

Quality Control: Maintain and uphold the quality of coffee, pastries, and food items, including adherence to themed recipes.

Sustainability: Implement and manage sustainable practices including waste reduction, sourcing of environmentally friendly products, and responsible food sourcing.

Community Engagement: Foster connections with the local community, host events, and create partnerships that align with our brand values.

Qualifications:

4+ Years of previous experience in coffee shop/ cafe management, including experience as a barista in a high paced environment.

A passion for specialty coffee - you can jump right in and make the perfect cortado, dial in the Slayer machine, and produce latte art.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

A commitment to sustainability and eco-friendly practices.

Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment including availability to work weekend’s as needed

Proficiency in Spanish a plus

Benefits:

Salary $60,000 - $100,000 based on experience plus performance based bonuses.
