At Nit Noi Provisions, we craft superior broth, Thai soups, handmade dumplings, and fried rice using pasture-raised animals and organic vegetables sourced locally and sustainably.
COMBO KITCHEN Role:
As a COOK, you must be able to clean, cut vegetables, follow recipes and debone a whole chicken. You must be able to work on the line cooking dumplings, fried rice, and curries. If needed, you will help make broth and dumplings. During downtimes, you will help clean and organize the kitchen and help with stamping and labeling. As FOH, you must be able to explain the menu, take orders and payments, use various POS, pack orders, and provide best in-class customer service.
FULL-TIME:
Your time will be split between our cafe in Greenwich and at farmer's markets.
TWO SHIFTS:
Tuesday: 8:30a - 3:30p or 1:00pm - 8:00pm
Wednesday: 8:30a - 3:30p or 1:00pm - 8:00pm
Thursday: 8:30a - 3:30p or 1:00pm - 8:00pm
Friday: 8:30a - 3:30p or 1:00pm - 8:00pm
Saturday: 9:00am - 4:30pm
EXPERIENCE
-2 years of restaurant BOH/FOH experience, or culinary school training
-CT Food Handler Certificate
-Fluent in English
-Must have resume
-Valid driver's license and insurance
COMPENSATION
-Paid training for the first week ($19/hrs)
-$21/hr plus tips
