Fresco by Scotto is a family-owned and fast-paced restaurant in Midtown. Currently seeking a Hostess with minimum 1 year experience in an upscale restaurant. If there is no restaurant experience, your comportment and willingness to learn will be just as valuable.
Requirements & Qualifications:
⁃ Min. 1 year restaurant or hotel experience
⁃ Experience with Resy preferred, bot not required
⁃ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
⁃ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
⁃ Strong organizational abilities
⁃ Ability to handle high-pressure situations with a calm demeanor.
⁃ Demonstrate ownership of job responsibilities through focus, determination, and attention to detail with the goal of elevating the guest experience in every interaction
Job Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome guests to ensure a great experience upon arrival.
Manage reservations and ensure efficient table allocation.
Answer phones and provide information.
Maintain status updates to assist with running the door efficiently.
Provide accurate wait times and manage guest expectations.
Assist in the coat room and keep coat check organized.
Participate in birthday parades and other staff-led activities
Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries and needs in person and over the phone.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Compensation Details
Compensation: Hourly ($20.00-$23.00) (Based on experience)
Monday-Saturday (lunch and dinner shifts available)
Closed Sunday.
