Other Half Brewery is looking for a committed warehouse lead to join our team in Brooklyn, NY!
Summary:
This position is focused on filling in the gaps for both the Warehouse and Distribution Teams. Responsibilities include supporting within the warehouse - organizing, cleaning, unloading trucks, driving trucks, moving pallets, and setting up the warehouse.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Maximizing space in order to store product efficiently in warehouses
Construct, wrap and label pallets of product with precision
Accurate completion of proper documentation concerning shipping/receiving
Ensure dry-goods warehouse and cold room are kept clean and organized
Tracks and records inventory of finished and partial pallets from packaging runs, and performs audits as necessary
Provides stock to tap room as needed
Manually load and unload product from side loader truck
Shipping & receiving of products (loading and unloading trucks)
Lift, stack, and transport cases and kegs of beer of varying weights
Help with various other tasks/projects when required deep cleaning, maintenance, pickups and deliveries, etc).
Experience using spreadsheets and other inventory management software
Reading order sheets and ensuring product is tagged properly
Maintaining a consistent and up to date inventory
Assisting in supervising the warehouse team when the Manager is not present
Equipment Operation - Safely Operates:
Must be able to operate forklifts, box trucks, electric pallet jacks, and non-electric pallet jacks
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must have a safe driving record
Able to lift, load, unload and move products and fulfill all physical requirements of the job
Strong computer skills
Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
One (1) year or more of logistics/warehouse management experience
The base pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour. The determination of what a specific employee in this job classification is paid within the range depends on a number of factors, including, but not limited to, prior employment history/job-related knowledge, qualifications and skills, etc."
