About us:
Win Son Restaurant is a Taiwanese-American full-service restaurant in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
We are known throughout NYC for our Taiwanese-American cuisine and attentive but casual service atmosphere.
Job duties include, but are not limited to:
- Managing Brunch and/or Dinner services
- Leading a team of around 15 front of house employees, as well as coordinating with back of house managers and employees
- Assist with communication to update FOH on menu and policy updates
- Assist with training new employees
- Scheduling and ordering
- Menu management including in house menus, POS system menus (Toast) and delivery and Doordash.
- Participate in weekly management meetings
- Works with management team to problem solve issues and streamline systems
What we are looking for in a candidate:
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
Great verbal and written communication skills
At least 2 years of restaurant or cafe management experience, or extensive service experience
NYC Food Handlers License
Flexible availability - includes nights and weekends
Ability to identify and solve problems
Barista experience
