We are a large wine and spirits shop located in Midtown East. We’re hiring for a full-time store associate to join our team. The position is 5 days per week for 40hrs. You will have Sunday's and 1 weekday off.
The ideal candidate has experience working in customer service. You are friendly, have a working knowledge of wine and spirits and can communicate and work well on a small team. You are punctual, trustworthy, hard-working, and proactively look for things that need to be done in the store. You must be able to take direction, and be willing to go the extra mile for our customers.
About the position:
- Take deliveries
- Help customers with their selections
- Take and process orders over the phone
- Operate cash register and delivery apps
- Help organize the store and stock room
- Move cases up and down stairs
- Stock shelves and refrigerator
- Help clean and maintain the shop
