Gnarly Vines is a vibrant, adored neighborhood wine and spirits shop in Fort Greene, Brooklyn that's been serving the community going on 17 years.
We are seeking a responsible detail-oriented person with a passion for wine and spirits, and a desire to learn more.
Compensation and Perks:
- Starting Salary: $18-$22/hour commensurate with experience plus some tips
- Generous staff discount on wines and spirits

The right candidate will:
- Have experience working with wine and/or formal study. WSET certification is a plus!
- Be passionate and curious about wine and spirits, and pro-active in learning more
- Process in-store sales, phone and online orders
- Have a strong sense of hospitality and the ability to communicate effectively with customers
- Restock and maintain appearance of the store
- Computer, photography and graphic design skills are a plus!
- Experience with Shopify POS and eCom are also a big plus!
- Able to lift 40 lbs up and down a flight of stairs
- Have an all hands on deck attitude in a fast-paced environment
- A commitment of at least 25hrs a week (3 to 5 shifts)
- Be flexible as your schedule will include nights, weekends and holidays
