Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, fillings, crowns, and extractions
Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment areas according to infection control protocols
Take and process dental X-rays (digital system)
Record patient information and update dental charts accurately
Provide excellent patient care and help ensure a positive experience
Manage patient flow and prepare rooms efficiently between appointments
Support front desk staff as needed with scheduling or patient communication
Qualifications
Experience as a dental assistant (1+ year)
Current New York State Dental Assistant Certification preferred
X-ray certification required
Must be proficient in iTero scanning (required)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Professional, reliable, and detail-oriented
Familiarity with dental software and digital X-rays a plus
