We are looking for a motivated Hygienist with at least 1 year of hygiene experience who will treat our patients like family for our dental practice in Scarsdale, NY. We currently have a part-time position available:
2 Saturday's a month 7:45am - 2:00pm
Responsibilities:
Evaluate overall oral health, examining oral cavity for signs of periodontal disease or possible cancers, including sore, recessed & bleeding gums, and signs of tooth decay
Take digital radiographs (Dexis system)
Dentrix is a must
Full charting of existing treatment as well las perio charting
Document dental history or chief complaint; records and reports
Follow through with oral hygiene procedures in accordance with treatment plans prescribed by attending Dentist. Procedures may include Prophylaxis, Periodontal Scaling, Root Planing, Debridement, Application of Fluoride Treatments, and Application of Protective Sealants, alginate impressions.
Full hour appointments
Qualifications:
1 year dental hygiene experience (we will train the right candidate)
New York State RDH license
Experience with Dentrix software a must!
Salary: $50.00 - $65.00 per hour
