Requirements:
5+ years of Private Practice as ENT Provider
Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
Active NY State Medical License
The candidate should specialize in diagnosing and treating disorders of the ear, nose, and be able to address a wide range of conditions related to hearing, balance, voice, swallowing, breathing, allergies, and more.
Excellent clinical skills and knowledge of current evidence-based practices in otolaryngology.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on advancements in the field.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Compassion, empathy, and dedication to providing high-quality care to patients with ear, nose & throat disorders.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough medical histories and physical examinations to evaluate patients presenting with ear, nose & throat.
Develop individualized treatment plans for patients based on their diagnosis, medical history, symptoms, and preferences.
Treatment modalities may include medication management, surgical interventions, lifestyle modifications, and referrals to other specialists.
Evaluate and manage hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in the ears), vertigo, and balance disorders, including the prescription and fitting of hearing aids and other assistive devices.
Diagnose and treat voice disorders (dysphonia), swallowing disorders (dysphagia), and other conditions affecting vocal cord function and laryngeal anatomy.
Assess and manage allergies, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and other conditions affecting the nasal passages and sinuses, including allergy testing, immunotherapy, and sinus surgery.
Educate patients and their families about their condition, treatment options, potential risks and benefits, and strategies for disease prevention and management.
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including audiologists, speech-language pathologists, allergists, oncologists, radiologists, and primary care providers, to optimize patient care and outcomes.
