Job description
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection accurately and efficiently
Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during exams/procedures
Record vital signs, patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems - familiarity with eClinicalWorks a plus
Maintain exam room cleanliness and ensure all equipment is properly stocked and sanitized
Provide excellent patient care with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail
We are looking for a seasoned Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills and prior experience in a physician’s office or hospital clinic setting. This role requires someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training — someone who understands the pace and demands of a clinical setting and can provide high-quality support from day one.
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA preferred)
Phlebotomy experience is required
Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician’s office or hospital-based clinic
Ability to work independently and step confidently into a fast-paced clinical environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
EMR experience preferred
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32-40 per week
