A male family direct care worker is needed to work in the home with young male client with mental/physical disabilities. The job duties include assisting with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, and engaging in social activities such as reading/music/art with client. A family member is always in the home, however, the job of the family direct care worker is to provide respite and sitting with client so family can move around and do other activities.
The ideal candidate will have a background in special education or healthcare, patient, good communication skills, and able to adhere to hygiene protocols on behalf of patient's care needs. Must also be physically fit to lift/position patient with assistance. The available shift is Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights from 6pm-6am.
