Park Avenue LASEK is seeking to hire a 2nd FMG eye MD (ophthalmologist) or OD (optometrist) for part-time or full-time work
Pay depends on your abilities & English fluency
Our current FMG MD PhD cannot perform good manifest refractions (MR), nor is she very fluent in English (she’s got low intermediate ESL abilities) so we’re seeking to supplement her, or replace her with an eye doctor (MD or OD) who can do excellent MRs & speaks fluent English
You need to perform the pre operative exams, assist our surgeon in the OR, perform post operative exams, answer phones, check & return emails, see Free Consultations & be confident & competent so they proceed with LASEK (this is why preference will be given to a candidate who wants LASEK for themselves, so you can be a “walking testimonial”)
Pay is $25-$50 per hour, depending on your skill level, English fluency, & licensing/insurance status
