Part-Time Direct Support Professional (Mandarin-Speaking) Wanted!
Location: Flushing, Queens
Pay Rate: $16-$18/hr | Up to 10 hrs/week
Language Requirement: Mandarin and English
We are seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities (ID/DD) or mental health challenges. Work directly with families in their homes and communities, providing essential support and life skills training.
Key Responsibilities:
️ Support individuals in daily living activities and social skills development
️ Assist with community integration and independence-building
️ Communicate effectively with families and supervisors
️ Complete required documentation and mandatory training
Qualifications:
✅ Prior experience in direct services or pursuing a degree in education, social work, psychology, or nursing preferred
✅ High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred not required)
✅ Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
✅ Ability to lift 35 lbs and maintain a flexible schedule
