Full-Time medical biller and collection position open for billing office in Albertson, NY.
Experience and/or knowledge of Workers Compensation, No Fault is required
Medicare and Medicaid is a plus but not required
Responsibilities include:
- Communicating verbally with insurance companies regarding claims processing and payments processing,
- Communicating with attorneys in regards to the Case/claim Status.
- Responding to verification requests from insurance companies
- Submitting and Following up on Denials/ Appeals/ Reconsiderations/ EOBs
- Assisting the current staff as needed
