A Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a mentor, a caregiver and a friend to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. A DSP helps people achieve everyday tasks, including socialization, safety, household chores and self-care routines.
What we offer:
-Pay: $16.75 - $19/hr
-Positions: Entry-Level (High School Diploma required)
-Schedule: Full & Part-Time Opportunities
Ideal Candidate:
-Professional and PATIENT
-Must be empathetic and eager to assist a population of clients with disabilities
-Comfortable doing light cooking, cleaning, and bathing
-Bilingual in Spanish/ English is HIGHLY PREFERRED
-NYS Driver's License preferred, but not required
