High-end dermatology practice in NYC seeks a well-spoken, organized, detail oriented, individual for part time or full time receptionist/office coordinator position.
Primary responsibilities include answering phones; Booking appointments; Greeting, checking in and rooming patients; Entering data and managing patient records; Assisting with patient flow and patient follow up and other tasks related to patient management including checking insurance eligibility, prescription support, claims and billing support, and general administrative duties.
Required:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Must speak English proficiently)
- A high level of organization and ability to handle phone volume in a structured and efficient manner
- Ability to learn quickly and be flexible
- Ability to represent the practice and handle patients in a courteous, caring and professional manner
- Must be polished, professional, and articulate with an excellent phone manner
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping
- Knowledge of medical terminology and/or dermatology procedures a plus
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- STRONG COMPUTER AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS A MUST
