We are looking for a part-time ophthalmic technician to join our medical practice from Monday to Thursday, approximately 25 hours a week (possibility exists to increase hours). Occasional Saturday hours may also be required (6 hours per month). Training can be provided for individuals with no prior experience in ophthalmology.
Job duties include performing initial patient screening and examination, including history of current illness, allergies, current medications, and past medical history. The technician will check visual acuity, administer eye drops, check eye pressure, as well as perform testing using various ophthalmic testing modalities (autorefractor, OCT, fundus camera, visual field, IOLMaster).
Experience with front-desk not required, although helpful.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred)
