Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and maintaining accurate medication records.
- Prepare prescription orders by counting, pouring, labeling, and packaging medications.
- Maintain inventory levels by ordering and stocking medications and supplies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering phone calls, assisting customers at the counter, and addressing their concerns.
- Follow pharmacy regulations and safety standards to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT) preferred.
- Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy software systems.
