We are looking for a dependable Pharmacy Technician who will process and fill prescriptions. You will undertake other tasks under the direction of a pharmacist to provide excellent customer service and ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. As a pharmacy technician, you must be detail-oriented and reliable since the job has high responsibility. You must possess excellent communication skills as well as aptitude in using Micro Merchant Systems.
Duties:
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
Maintain inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring proper storage and organization
Process prescription orders, including data entry and insurance verification
Provide exceptional customer service to patients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues
Assist with medication administration as directed by pharmacists
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate medication orders and patient care
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pharmacy area
Skills:
Working Knowledge of Prime Rx Software or Other Pharmacy Software is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently
Knowledge of pharmacy technician duties and responsibilities
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Reliable with a keen eye for detail
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 10am-6pm, 40 hours/week
Salary: $18.00 to $26.00/hr based on experience
