Pharmacy Technician needed ASAP
Job duties include but not limited to:
PROFICIENT knowledge of MicroMerchant highly prefered.
Help healthcare providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone; answers questions and requests; referring inquiries to the pharmacist if needed.
Assists with medications and supplies reorder; placing orders; verifying incoming delivery order of daily medications; removing outdated/expired drugs.
Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with rules and regulations.
Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels;calculating quantitites needed
Maintains records by recording and filing physicians orders and prescriptions.
Ensures medication availability, managing stock.
Organizes and prepares daily deliveries.
Ordering OTC items and keeping stocked shelves
Practice excellent customer service skills
