We are seeking a manually skilled and passionate Per Diem Physical Therapist to join our team backstage for two Broadway show premieres. This unique role will involve providing back stage, immediate care to performers, ensuring they remain in optimal physical condition throughout the show’s run. The successful candidate will have experience working in a performance environment and be comfortable working with artists in the entertainment industry.
Qualifications:
Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New York.
Experience in performing arts or sports medicine is a plus, but not required.
Knowledge of injury prevention, rehabilitation techniques, and ergonomic practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with performers, stage managers, and backstage crew.
Flexible and adaptable to changing schedules, with the ability to work at least one night a week and/or one Saturday per month.
