Established vascular clinic in Brooklyn has an immediate opening for FT/PT Vascular Ultrasound Technician/Sonographer. Experience is preferred but will consider new graduates. Must be dependable, able to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work as part of a team. Russian speaking is highly desirable.
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform vascular ultrasound exams (lower extremity venous scans and duplex studies).
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment; ensure accurate documentation
Prepare patients for procedures and explain imaging process
Assist during procedures
Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to review imaging
Comply with clinic protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) preferred -new grads welcome.
Experience in vascular ultrasound is a plus; vein clinic experience is a bonus.
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
Salary: $28-$42 based on qualifications and experience
