About Us

Bulk Electric LLC is a growing NYC electrical contracting firm delivering full-building electrification and commercial fit-outs. We’re looking for a proactive Office Manager to be the right hand to our CEO and who thrives in a fast-moving, field-driven environment and can be the operational hub between the office, field crews, vendors, and clients.

What You’ll Do

Operations & Scheduling: Coordinate daily schedules for field teams, dispatch, manage calendars, and track job progress.

Paperwork & Compliance: Prepare permits, COIs, DOB/HPD filings, utility applications; maintain OSHA/ safety docs and subcontractor packets.

Accounting Support: Light bookkeeping (A/P, A/R), invoice prep, timecard collection, expense reconciliation in QuickBooks Online; coordinate with outside CPA.

Procurement & Vendors: Issue POs, price-check materials, track deliveries & returns, maintain inventory logs.

HR/Admin: New-hire onboarding, I-9s, maintain employee files, assist with payroll inputs; update policies and job folders.

Client Service: Answer phones/emails, schedule inspections, draft proposals and change orders, and follow up on outstanding items.

Process Improvement: Build checklists and templates to streamline workflows and reduce rework.

What You Bring

2–4+ years of office management or project admin experience (construction/electrical/MEP a plus).

Comfortable with QuickBooks Online, Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs), and project/task tools.

Strong grasp of NYC permitting/COIs; DOB/ConEd/National Grid experience a plus.

Excellent written & verbal communication; can juggle multiple deadlines with calm, professional follow-through.

Eligibility to work in the U.S.; reliable commute to Brooklyn 3–4 days per week.

Schedule & Hybrid

Standard business hours (Mon–Fri). Hybrid: 1–2 remote days/week after onboarding and performance ramp.

Comp & Benefits

$28–$38/hr DOE
