Midtown firm is seeking an experienced professional to administer benefit programs such as health insurance, life insurance, Dental and Vision, short-term disability, Transit, 401k, and FSA, for immediate hire.
Maintain open enrollment calendar for 401k, FSA, and company-wide meetings as required.
o Assisting employees with questions about benefit enrollments and claims, and any changes.
o Schedule open enrollment meetings for all benefits and other related incentive programs.
o Maintain and process transit changes as requested by employees with TAMS system.
o Cellphone policy administration.
o Life insurance claim processing.
o SANS cybersecurity training administration and maintenance.
o Filing annual 5500’s for each plan as required.
o Review employee’s 401k loan repayment end dates to ensure balances are paid as per schedule.
o Assist Human Resources Manager in obtaining and creating reports as required using statistics for the renewal process of any Health, Life, and Retirement plans for the company.
Reconciliation- Manage monthly billings (health, dental, vision, short term and Long Term disability, basic and voluntary life, commuter benefits) terminations and new hires are confirmed and reviewed for accuracy to ensure credits are received and updates are reflected correctly on invoices.
Prepare and reconciling the 401k benefit.
o Quarterly: Reconcile of employee’s 401k contributions from the JH portal to the company’s General Ledger.
o Annually: Assist in the preparation and reconciliation of the 401k Loan Report. Assist in preparing employee’s file and 401k reports for Audit as requested.
o Biometric clock -Administration including setting up of non-exempt employees, correcting missing punches, and rectifying any clock malfunction issues.
Other –
o Assist with planning company-wide events, such as ordering meals, print labels, hand out invitations, collect RSVPs, and update guest lists.
o Any other duties assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
o College Degree required, or the equivalent of 5 years’ experience in benefits administration.
o Effective oral and written communication skills.
o Experience with Microsoft Office Suites programs.
