Job Description:
We are seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage construction sites across New York City. The successful candidate will be responsible for regularly visiting multiple job sites to monitor progress, supervise workers, and ensure that projects are on track. This is a full-time, field-based role requiring strong communication and organizational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct daily inspections at various construction sites to ensure project progress and adherence to schedules,report daily on job site progress and any issues that arise.
Communicate with the project team, contractors, and stakeholders to address any concerns and updates.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards, especially related to NYC DOT regulations.
Handle violation ticket related to NYC DOT (Phone call hearing if necessary)
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and the ability to travel between multiple job sites across the five boroughs.
Proficiency in English and Spanish (spoken and written).
Basic knowledge of Plumbing and general construction practices.
Prior experience as a superintendent or in a similar supervisory role is preferred, but training is available for candidates with no direct experience.
