We are seeking a reliable and motivated delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to navigate routes effectively, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety.
Responsibilities
Operate delivery vehicles, including flatbed trucks and box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
Load and unload products
Ensure timely delivery by following designated routes and schedules.
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including obtaining signatures and tracking shipments.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any concerns or inquiries.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
Assist with heavy lifting and manual handling of materials as required.
Navigate using GPS systems or maps to optimize delivery routes.
Requirements
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience as a truck driver is preferred.
Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and practices.
Experience with route driving and knowledge of local areas is advantageous.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally.
Capability to handle heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds) safely.
Experience using pallet jacks, forklifts, or similar equipment is desirable.
Prior experience as a courier is beneficial but not mandatory.
Job hours: 7 AM to 5 PM Monday - Friday and 7 AM to 1:45 on Saturdays
Candidate will be driving non-CDL truck
Spanish speaking would be beneficial
Guaranteed Overtime every week
Must be 21 or over
