Now that we have a new location, we are looking to bring on a new team member to join our front desk/customer service team. We have three stores, two in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn.
No dry cleaning or drop-off laundromat experience is required (but preferred).
Paid training available. Immediate start.
Front Desk Person/Customer Service Provider responsibilities and preferences:
1. Receive customer’s orders and provide them with an itemized ticket.
2. Give the customers their dry cleaning and or laundry orders when it’s ready.
3. Answer phone calls.
4. Tagging the clothing for tracking purposes.
5. Organizing and preparing ready dry cleaning orders.
6. Move the ready laundry bags from the folding area to the designated storage area. (requires an ability to lift from 5 lbs to 40+lbs).
7. We are open 7 days a week, the more availability you have, the more hours we can provide.
8. Part-time to begin More hours or full-time available depending on performance
8. A high level of English is required.
9. Chinese, Spanish, or Korean is a plus, but not required.
10. Must be able to work alone during short periods and long periods.
11. Closing store tasks: managing the credit card recipients, taking out garbage, activating the security alarm, locking the door and gate
12. Inform supervisory/learn to manage issues/complaints from customers.
12. Additional tasks we might need assistance with: cleaning, delivery (must know how to ride a bike),
Light to heavy physical lifting is required (laundry bags may weigh up to 40/50 lbs)
Standing and light walking required
