The Porter is responsible for keeping our space clean and tidy for our guests to feel comfortable enjoying our space and food: from our hallways, tables in the seating areas and floors. Responsible for the cleanliness of the vendor outside spaces, trash compactor and grease trap areas.
CORE FOCUS & ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Qualified candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete the following responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.
● Assists in keeping the market area clean, neat and free of debris and trash as needed.
● Cleans hallways and restrooms.
● Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, vacuums and polishes floor.
● Removes trash from bins and takes it to the trash bins downstairs.
● Walks all assigned floors at beginning, throughout the day and end of shift to collect trash, soiled linen and other items as assigned by management.
● Clean all public areas in the prescribed manner while following department standard operating procedures.
● Reports missing/ found articles, damage or merchandise problems to the housekeeping supervisors and managers.
● Responds at all times in a friendly, helpful manner to guests and other colleagues.
● Handles any tasks assigned by the supervisors as and when needed.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Individual should be high school graduate and/or have a combination of experiences that provides the required knowledge, skills, and ability to effectively fulfill the requirements of this job description.
