Field Technician for Wireless Telecom

Job Responsibilities:

Follow all state and federal safety regulations (OSHA, local turf vendor, tower company, etc.) while working in an efficient and productive manner.

Installing antennas, mounting hardware, installing coax and connectors, grounding, testing, positioning, and optimizing antennas and lines.

Use appropriate hand and power tools to properly measure, cut, bend and assemble all components necessary for lifting, moving and installing equipment, materials, cable lines, antennas

Interprets various documents (e.g. blueprints, diagrams, manufacturer specifications, etc.) to ensure proper installation of antenna systems using technical expertise and knowledge of blueprints and diagrams.

Loading and unloading material and equipment in a warehouse setting and on the job sites, with and without the assistance of a lift gate

Work Hours Compensation & Benefits:

6:00 AM to 2:30 PM Monday thru Friday

(Flexible to work overtime when needed)

$17 to $25/hour (TBD Based on Experience)

Qualifications/Skills:

Prior hands-on mechanical, construction, electrical, or equivalent working experience is preferred.

Coax, Fiber routing/handling experience.

Basic knowledge of safety procedures

Attention to detail.

Highly organized and able to effectively provide verbally and written reports to the Project Manager.

Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.

Physically and mentally able to perform construction related activities in various working environments including outdoors and at height.

Able to lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.

Education, Experience & Licensing Requirements:

OSHA 30-Hour Construction Card. (Required)

QEW Training (Qualified Electrical Worker for Wireless Telecom) (Preferred but not required)

Radio Frequency Awareness Certificate (Preferred but not required)

CPR and First aid certification. (Preferred but not required)

Lock out Tag out Certificate. (Preferred but not required)

Rigging Certificate (Preferred but not required)

Valid Driver’s license. (Preferred)
