Looking for a reliable, energetic personal assistant who’s ready to work hard and help get things done around a ceramic studio.
The role is a mix of physical work, slab rolling and pugging clay, organizing, and problem-solving — ideal if you like variety and staying active and you're a self starter.
Tasks include:
- Slab rolling clay for production
- Pugging and recycling clay
- Organizing studio inventory
- Packing orders
- Unloading kilns
- Managing weekly Recycling / Garbage
Who you are:
- Detail oriented
- Energetic, resourceful, and willing to work hard
- A strong problem solver who takes initiative
- Comfortable lifting and moving heavier items (up to 50 lbs)
- Handy, organized, and detail-oriented
- Trustworthy, a clear communicator with ability to bring up any issues that arrise
- Flexible and open to different types of tasks
Details:
- Location: Brooklyn
- Hours: Flexible, about 10–20 per week to start
- Pay: $17 per hour (paid bi-weekly)
