Where is seeking a person interested in joining a start up dog kennel that is focused on researching ways to improve the health of golden retrievers exclusively. We’ve taken a multifamily building in Bethel, Connecticut and converted it into a private kennel with half an acre of space for the dogs as well a home consisting of six bedrooms and two bathrooms, two kitchens and one detached art studio.
Why are we offering an apartment on the property for this role?
The ideal candidate will be pursuing or interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine and can be at the very beginning of that career path. Room and border included so that the employee can work with the growing kennel dogs on training as well as performance evaluations, and a number of psychological and physical tests for the Existing dogs and their puppies. We expect over 200 puppies by the end of next year that need to be cared for and trained the best way we see to work through that is by having someone that lives on site.
The business is focused on studying golden retrievers over the next 20 years and understanding the nature of the cancers that affect them, and humans. Golden retriever and human share four types of cancers, like no other dogs.

The experience level: entry level, completed high school diploma.
The aspiration: Interest in kennel dog operations, selecting and breeding golden retrievers from around the world, working with other kennels and vets on data sharing, and searching for ideal genetic mates for our kennel dames, using modern DNA tools and our inhouse consultants. The person should desire and have taken steps in the past towards breeding dogs or veterinary in general or human genetic cancer medicine.
