We are seeking a meticulous and professional Housekeeper to maintain the highest industry standards in cleanliness and organization across multiple (5) luxury properties throughout New York City. This role ensures all interiors align with the Principals’ preferences and provides occasional assistance with food and beverage service. The Housekeeper will report directly to the House Manager and require frequent local travel between properties.
Requirements:
- Previous housekeeping experience in luxury homes, hotels, or estates preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to handle delicate fabrics, fine furnishings, and high-end materials with care.
- Discretion, professionalism, and ability to work in a private household setting.
- Flexibility to travel between multiple properties within NYC.
- Ability to work independently while following household protocols and expectations.
Responsibilities:
Property Maintenance:
- Perform daily cleaning of assigned rotating areas to uphold pristine conditions.
- Ensure properties are always guest-ready.
- Assist with closet organization, storage areas, and staff workspaces.
- Execute deep cleaning tasks during downtimes or as needed.
- Support laundry services, including washing, ironing, and organization.
- Monitor and report inventory levels, ensuring proper stocking of supplies.
- Complete special projects as assigned by the Associate Estate Manager.
Hospitality Support:
- Assist with food and beverage service for Principals and guests.
- Provide light meal preparation assistance as needed.
Schedule:
- Full-time position with flexibility based on household needs.
- Frequent local travel between NYC properties required.
Compensation: $35-45/hr / Benefits package included / Vacation / 401K after probationary period
Location:
New York, NY (Multiple luxury residences, frequent local travel required primarily to Upper West Side, NY).
