Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role in the New York City Metropolitan Area for a Kitchen Exhaust
Technician. The Kitchen Exhaust Technician will be responsible for inspecting and cleaning kitchen exhaust systems for commercial clients, ensuring compliance with safety codes and regulations. The Kitchen Exhaust Technician will also identify and report any issues with the system and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or replacements.
Qualifications
Prior experience in Kitchen Exhaust cleaning and maintenance
Knowledge of NFPA 96 Standards and Codes
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends as needed
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team
OSHA certification is a plus
Previous experience cleaning commercial kitchen exhaust systems a must
Ability to work on ladders and roofs
Knowledge of safety rules and regulations for working at heights and in confined spaces
Attention to detail and ability to work independently
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Availability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, nights, and weekends
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and objects, up to 50 pounds
Entry-level applicants welcome, but a high level of motivation and a strong work ethic are required! We're willing to train and certify the right candidate in kitchen exhaust cleaning, hood and duct maintenance, and ventilation system cleaning.
