Job Summary:
Our Laundromat Manager must be able to manage people and ensure accountability. To be successful in this role, an individual should possess strong leadership skills, drive productivity, manage daily operations and ensure profitability for their store location. This candidate will also be the backup to the driver if there is a no show and must be able to come in early so the deliveries aren’t delayed.
Essential Job Functions:
Laundromat Managers are the face of the store and must be willing to take ownership responsibilities as listed below:
Responsible ensuring the delivery schedule is being adhered to daily
Participate in the screening and selection process for staffing needs of store location
Ensure training procedures and evaluations are adhered to, multi-tasking online activities as well as daily activities in the store
Develop employee schedules while adhering to budgeted payroll hours
Responsible for ensuring turnaround times are met and supplies are managed
Ensure all standard operating procedures for folding and reporting are being done properly
Maintain a continual focus on store cleanliness and the availability and functionality of ancillary items such as laundry carts, folding tables and televisions
Ability to manage emergency as needed situations such as employee callouts and extra shifts as needed
Continual focus on keeping associated costs low (staffing, routing, delivery scheduling)
Job Requirements:
Must have 1 or more years of experience in laundromat or retail location
Must have at least 2 years of experience leading a team
Must be able to stand for up to 8+ hours at a time for a shift
Must be able to lift 50 pounds
Must be able to communicate with all customers and associates in a professional manner
Ability to resolve customer issues/complaints in a fashionable and timely manner
Ability to train all store associates in their assigned tasks
Knowledge of excel and computer programs a plus
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Must have clean driving record and comfortable with deliveries in a van
Must speak SPANISH
Our managers typically are scheduled Monday-Friday and as needed for a callout on the weekends. Our managers on occasion may need to hold an evening meeting or supervise a different shift if the business dictates.
Our managers make up a large part of our direct customer facing service providers, this would include assisting customers with everyday needs in a laundromat setting, completing customer wash, dry & fold drop off orders as well as keeping the store clean and presentable.

While off the clock, still checking messages and taking ownership to solve problems that come up
We do have an evening shift in two locations this team is Spanish speaking. Will need to be able to communicate with them as needed. To be discussed at interview.
