Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and reliable and experienced Laundromat Attendant to join our team. This role involves interacting with customers, assisting with self-service operations, processing wash, dry, and fold orders, answering phone calls, taking orders, and efficiently managing transactions through our POS (Point of Sale) system. You will ensure a positive customer experience by providing excellent service and maintaining the functionality and cleanness of the laundromat.
Duties
Complete wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures with high quality and attention to detail.
Assist self-service laundry customers as needed with machines, payment system, and vending
Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed.
Greet customers and guests.
Provide great customer experience to all guests.
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally.
Take detailed customer orders and record them accurately in the POS system.
Process payments, including cash, credit card, and other forms of transactions.
Provide information about services, prices, and promotions.
Ensure that customer orders are organized and ready for pickup or delivery as needed.
Maintain cleanliness of the store and machines to our high standards
Ensure that all laundry is completed in a timely manner to meet operational needs.
Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
Requirements
Previous experience of at least 3 years in a laundry
Outstanding customer service skills
Excellent communication skills
Basic computer skills and familiarity with using a POS system (training can be provided).
Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Good physical stamina; ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Dependable and punctual with a friendly demeanor.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
