Lead Carpenter
Duties:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of carpentry projects from start to finish
- Coordinate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials
- Install cabinets, tile/bathrooms, trim carpentry, and flooring
- Use power tools and hand tools to complete carpentry tasks
- Perform drywall installation and repair
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a carpenter
- Proficient in cabinet installation, roof construction, trim carpentry, flooring installation and tile work
- Strong knowledge of power tools and their safe operation
- Experience with drywall installation and repair techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
